December Snow, Luminaria, Caroling Party, etc....2021

Tis the season to be jolly!  One of my favorite winter activities here is Luminaria at Ashton Gardens, Thanksgiving Point.  This year I got Eric, Ben and Meg to go with me.  It's a long walk and a little chilly but so so beautiful and worth it.  We dressed warmly and it was a perfect evening!

It's always special and sacred seeing the statues of Christ!  The gardens are so lit up and everything is spectacular!  We all loved it and had a great time!

We had a couple of good snow storms that really made it feel like Christmas was coming!

I still am in awe of this view! Never gets old.

See the snow behind the curtains on the outside of the windows?  We had sort of a blizzard with really high winds!

This was our Christmas card this year:

We got a lot of laughs from people!  They turned out pretty cute!

Our Brazil senior missionary friends got together for a Christmas dinner at Ruth and Brett Barrett's home in South Jordan.  They are such a fun group to be friends with.

We had our family caroling party this year.  We skipped last year because of Covid but this year we went for it.  We invited a lot of our family and extended family and had a fun group show up.  We had a potluck dinner, then caroling in our neighborhood, then we ended with hot chocolate and donuts.

Clockwise from the left, Ben, Meg, Marin, Sophie, Livi, Avy, Kobe, and Eric--Our young adult table!

Same group minus Melissa and plus Amanda

Cute little Bradli Brady, Brandon and Amanda's youngest of 5 girls!

Brandon and Amanda's girls playing with our popular little animals!

I got to attend Ellie and Reese's school Christmas program.  They are such cute girls.

I started baking bread!  I have made pretzels, muffins, little loaves of bread, full size loaves of bread, hamburger buns and sandwich rolls with my Food Nanny Kamut flour.  Everything was delicious and beautiful!
