Moore Gingerbread House Fun--December 2010

Paul, Joni, and Ellie joined us for our annual gingerbread house making activity.  We got these nifty kits this year and they were so much fun.  They came with candy and frosting, but we bought a few extra favorite kinds of candy to make them a little bit more unique.  Eric and Hannah created this beauty.
Joni and I creating ours.  We had a slight problem with our roof--it cracked, but we hot-glued it back together!

Our finished products!

Eric and Hannah's had a sad, violent crime committed in the front yard!
Paul's lego gingerbread house creation.  It's always a fun night when we can get together and do a fun project with our loved ones.  Fun way to kick off the Christmas season.  Another fun thing we did was got a couple of families together and sang Christmas carols at Cinnamon Park (the assisted living center where my mom lived for a few months).  They were so cute and so appreciative of our music.  It was fun to be there and share the Christmas spirit with the residents.
