Lefthand Creek Ward Night in Bethlehem--December 2010

Our ward had a fun Christmas activity this year, a night in Bethlehem.
Here is our Bishopric, Mike, Bishop Wheelwright, and Kim Hancock as the Wisemen.
A very wise man and his peasant wife.

Presenting gifts to the baby Jesus

Baby Jesus brought tears to many eyes.  It was such a sweet sight!

Our sweet primary children singing a few Christmas songs

Stan and Kathy Tomkinson and Katy Lyons helping serve food in the marketplace.  We had nuts and fruit, cheeses, hummus, meats, and lots of choices of breads.
Ladee and Ed Holdsworth serving water from a well.

Margaret Stones at the pottery shop

Hannah and her friend, Robin Sessions with some of the local babies (Ellie and Michelle Smith).  It was such a great activity and made us really feel like we were a part of that special, sacred event of so long ago. We went from room to room throughout the church and prophets of old were there to prophecy of the birth of the Savior.  It was very effective and we all felt the true spirit of Christmas!
