| Eric submitted his mission papers on Sunday, January 30th, and ten days later his call came in the mail to his dorm at BYU! He waited to open it until that evening when he and some of his friends went over to Ryan and Ali's house. Glen, Kendi, their kids, and Tyler, Jaimee and Sophie also came down for the opening of the letter! Kendi took pictures and we watched him open it live with the technology of Skype! |

| ...and he's called to serve in the Mexico, Cuernavaca Mission! We were all so happy for him. It's exciting for him to get to learn Spanish! He'll be our 6th Spanish speaking missionary son! He will be reporting to the Provo MTC on May 11, 2011! |

| Hannah, Mike and I watched via Skype (from Colorado) as he opened his call. He finishes his semester at BYU the week of April 22nd and then he will come home for two weeks and then he's off on the adventure of a lifetime! |

Hurray for Eric, our ninth missionary! His excitement is contageous. This is such a great opportunity for him to be the Lord's ambassador to the Mexican people. I hope our family and friends will keep him in their daily prayers.
