Spring tops the list! These gorgeous blossoms are on our own tree. Wish they could last longer!
We are enjoying our chickens. They are quickly changing from chicks into little ladies!
I try to be somewhat creative and fun for Violet when she comes up to visit. We have a little collection of plastic farm and zoo animals that she loves to play with. She also loves to color and one day I made her some homemade play-do. We had fun making snakes (nakes) and all sorts of things including new glasses for Grammy.
It's officially fire and s'more season at our house. Quarantine can't stop us from enjoying some of our favorite things!
Here's a partial list of what quarantine looks like for me:
Mask making--I'm now sewing masks for an RS project and this week I made 25.
**One of my favorite things is meeting my friend Cindi. We meet in our cars and get Swig, or lunch or sit in the Temple parking lot and study our scriptures. We stay in our separate cars but we have had some fun, uplifting conversations.**
Making and taking treats to people, including our Sunday School kids, McFlurries to Joni, Ellie and Reese, and cookies for Hannah, Chase, and Violet
Zoom Church with Melecia, Steve, and Glen's families and Blythe
Home church with Mike--we get to take the Sacrament which is prepared and blessed by Mike, we sing hymns, share thoughts from our study of Come Follow Me.
Real Estate school every weekday! Almost done!
Exercise--inside on my bike or outside walking or biking
Weekly walk or hike with Eric and Bait
Cards, calls and texts to ministering families
Lots of family texting with kids and siblings
Face-timing with kids and grandkids
Brady sibling weekly themed takeout--so far we have done burgers, Mexican, seafood and Italian
Blogging
Lots of Violet time!
Fun surprise visit from Jaimee, Sophie, Tucker and Austin--Easter Egg Hunt and baskets, and bike riding with them!
Neighborhood quilt show
Feeding goats and horses with Violet
Lots of movies on Netflix, YouTube TV and Amazon Prime
Taking a vacation from my problems--turning things over to my Savior when it gets to heavy to carry.
Yard work--chickens
House cleaning on Fridays with Mike
Scripture study--Come Follow Me
Reading
Listening to Mike's daily piano recitals
Ukulele practice
Crocheting wash cloths and hot pads
Spirit week--M, Team Spirit, T, jammie day, W, Team Tucker Day, T, Hat/crazy hair day, F, Zoom Talent Show--We only made it thru Monday due to Kimiko's dad, Gary, passing away. We will continue it when she is more up for it.
Just making this list makes me happy and I realize how busy and blessed I am in spite of the restrictions right now. Hoping people will stay careful and that we can stay healthy.
They are starting to lift the restrictions and we are hoping that the virus won't spread like wildfire. It will be an interesting couple of weeks/months ahead!
