Spring and warm weather are really here now and it is so beautiful! The social distancing restrictions have started easing up and we are now in the yellow phase which means restaurants, gyms, pools, retail stores, and other types of businesses are opening up on a restricted basis--only certain numbers of people allowed in at a time, masks encouraged, (required at Costco), lots of hand washing and hand sanitizing and just caution and common sense. They are also allowing team sports to resume. Hoping the curve stays flat and the number of infected persons doesn't go up! Praying a lot! We are still going to be extra cautious but glad to see the economy opening back up.
Eric and I (and Bait) walked from Eric's apartment in Midvale, which backs up to the Jordan River Trail, north for about 1 1/2 miles and then back.
We bought a playground kit from Lifetime, waited about a month for it to come in, and Chase put it together! Our backyard is becoming a fun zone!! Violet loves it and we can't wait for other grandkids to come try it!
The Brady siblings ate American food this week. We tried Popeye's Chicken for the first time and really liked it. Bob and Kathy both had BBQ, Nancy made homemade potato salad and sloppy joes and Pat had burgers and onion rings.
Kind of a bad picture of Pat's meal, but it looks like it tasted pretty delicious!
It was a good week! I have finished my real estate school and am scheduled for the exam on June 4!! Praying hard I can pass it on the first try. I'm studying pretty hard and plan to take a lot of practice tests between now and then!
