RM Youth Fireside, April 27, 2014

Eric, Russell Platt, and Jordyn Prestwich gave an excellent fireside for our youth last night.  They are all recently returned missionaries and they all happen to be home for a while before going back to school.  They worked together to present a lot of really good ideas for mission prep, and they bore strong testimonies of how their missions have built and shaped their lives.  They spoke together and separately and incorporated music and it really came across beautifully.  I think the youth were richly rewarded for attending.

This isn't actually a picture from the fireside, but the ones I took were just of the top of Eric's head and this one is so much better.  He played "Praise to the Man," and Russell sang a beautiful Sally Deford piece.

Our Bishop said afterwards that it was the best fireside he had ever been to in his entire life.  It really was very uplifting and spiritually rewarding.  Made us even more excited to serve our mission in two months!
