Moore Fun in Boise, April 2014

Monday morning, we said good-bye for now to Paul, Joni, Ellie, and Reese and headed to Boise to visit Glen, Kendi and their kids in their new home in Eagle.  Paul suggested we stop off and see this wonderful sight on the way:
This beautiful gorge is literally seconds off the freeway and you really wouldn't even notice it if you weren't looking for it!  Kind of awe inspiring!

It was a beautiful week to be in Boise!  Spring has arrived and we loved being there! For FHE, we took a walk along the Boise River.

We got to be in Boise for Kendi's birthday.  Eric, Maggie, Kendi, and I went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch and went shopping at the mall.  Mike and Glen played a round of golf and then we all went out for birthday dinner and had cake and ice cream back at their house afterwards.

Here are a couple of pictures of Glen and Kendi's beautiful new home:

Beautiful Eagle sunset

I got to do one of my favorite things, help decorate.  Kendi and I decorated the shelves and the fireplace.  Looks like we got a thumbs up on the results!

With Glen's expert picture hanging abilities, we also got this picture wall done.  They did such a great job designing this home from top to bottom.  Every detail is absolutely perfect.  There's a lot of beauty and a lot of love in their home and we loved being there!

One day for lunch, we met my brother, Bob, and his wife, Lydia, for lunch in Middleton, Idaho, at the Casa Mexico Restaurant.  We had a fun visit with them and caught up on the news of their family.  It has been fun for Eric to spend time with so many family members and friends in the short time he's been home.  It's hard to adjust to coming home from a mission, so I think it helps a bit to reconnect with loved ones.

Our week of traveling came to an end too quickly!  We left Thursday morning, April 10, and drove straight home.  It took about 12 hours plus a little extra for food, gas, and bathroom breaks.  Good to be home, but we miss our loved ones already!
