My niece, Marissa, is an incredibly gifted with many talents. She is very creative and has designed and made numerous, elaborate cakes for birthdays, weddings and other special occasions. She is also an amazing calligrapher and painter. I commissioned her to do watercolor paintings of the six houses that Mike and I have lived in during our 30 years of marriage together.
She was here last week and brought them with her. They are perfect! Exactly as I had envisioned them and better! I am so thrilled with them. Mike loves them too and they bring back so many wonderful memories. I had purchased frames from IKEA and we put the paintings in the frames and my neighbors, Lacey and Jeff Hammond, helped us hang them. They will be priceless heirlooms someday!
