March Tidbits, 2021

I love this time of year so much!  Spring officially began yesterday and we had a big rain/snow storm which brought us much needed water.  There are signs of spring starting to pop up all over the place.  Trees are starting to show signs of budding and there are daffodils and crocuses poking their little heads out of the ground.  Last Saturday night when we went to bed, we turned the clocks ahead an hour.  That's always a hard adjustment, but we get an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day so it's worth it.  It's light until after 8 pm now!  Feels like summer is just around the corner.

We had visitors from California this past week.  My niece, Valerie and her family were here for her husband, Daryl's mother's funeral.  Though it was a sad occasion that brought them here, we were happy to have them stop by for a visit.  They hadn't been to the movies due to Covid for over a year, so spur of the moment we went to see the new Disney movie, Raya.  They were all so happy to be in a theater and to have movie theater popcorn!  We sure love that sweet family so much!

The weather was so nice this past week, so Hannah, Violet and I met at the Thanksgiving Point farm.  Violet loves the pony rides and seeing all the animals.  She got to see some baby goats which is always a treat.  I love having the grandparent's pass and going to all the wonderful Thanksgiving Point places as often as we want to!

She's so much like her mommy in loving animals so much.  She has no fear of them.  Can't wait to witness all that spring has to offer in the next few weeks!  Easter is just two weeks from today.  General Conference is the same weekend which is always a special treat.
