We were supposed to go to London this month to celebrate our 30th anniversary and to visit Melecia, Rhett, Livi and Cecily. We had to postpone our trip due to Covid but hope we can go next year! Feeling a little blue that we couldn’t go, we decided to drive over to Colorado and spend a week!
We drove over on Saturday, the 12th and back on Sunday, the 20th. We visited friends in Loveland and Longmont and got to go to church in our old ward and saw many old friends there. We stayed with Kim and Kimbal Hancock in Loveland and with Margaret and Larry Stones in Longmont. We also visited my parents and grandparents gravesites. We tried to see as many people as we could but there just never is enough time to see and do everything we want. So many dear friends we wish we could've seen that we will have to see next time.

The trees at our Amethyst Drive home are taking over! We will always love that home we built in 1994, the year Hannah was born.
Monday afternoon, Gay and Bob Nielsen invited us to try out their new inflatable two-man kayaks at McIntosh Lake. It was awesome, but very hot and tiring. We loved it though! It's always fun to be out in nature on a boat with good friends.

We loved being back in Longmont and we truly miss our dear, lifelong friends from there. We will love them and keep them in our hearts forever. We also realized that we love our home and life we have made in Utah. It’s nice to Bloom Where You Are Planted or Transplanted!
Next stop, Estes Park!
