Todd earned his PHD from Ole Miss and we attended his hooding ceremony. Ryan, Ali and Quinn, Tyler, and Justin's family all came for it as well. We are so proud of Todd for all his hard work and for Kimiko for all her support and hard work keeping up their home and caring for Jaxon and Logan! They have loved Oxford Mississippi and the good friends they have made there, but they are looking forward to the next big step in their lives, moving to Logan, Utah, where Todd will be a finance professor!!
The day of the big event, we went out to dinner first to celebrate. We went to Todd's favorite place on the square called, Ajax Diner.

On Saturday afternoon, we had a bbq with some of their friends out in their courtyard, then on Saturday night, we went to watch the baseball game on campus. It was fun to see everyone wearing Ole Miss clothing!

Tyler left on Saturday afternoon and Justin's family headed out on Sunday morning. We had a nice Mother's day dinner--Todd's delicious slow roasted ribs with all the trimmings! Kathy drove up from Biloxi that afternoon to begin part 2 of our adventure!
On Monday, we took Kathy on a tour of the campus and Oxford. We had lunch at Handy Andy's, a local greasy spoon that was delicious. We got shaved ice to cool off!
Logan and Jaxon are such darling little boys! We sure have been blessed with wonderful grandchildren! Todd and Kimiko made us all feel so welcome and we had a great time with them. We stayed in a condo that their friends own which was perfect and had plenty of room for us all. Kimiko provided us with tons of great food including cinnamon rolls that were to die for! So much better than Cinnabon!!!
