Moore Fun in Utah County, June 23, 2014

After our reunion was over, we headed to Provo to get Eric settled into his new condo.  He's living in the Cambridge Condos!  Isn't that cool?  Mike and I will be living in Cambridge, Massachusetts and he will be living in Cambridge, Provo!!

We stayed the night in Highland with one of my BYU roommates, Jo and her husband Jim Moulton.  Eric came to dinner with us and then he headed back to BYU for his first night there.  His roommate, Jordan, is from North Carolina and he returned the same time as Eric (March) from a mission to India.  He seems like a nice kid and we hope this summer term will be a good one for Eric.

Jo and Jim live in a lovely home with a fabulous view of the mountains and all of Utah Valley.  Our bedroom was like a bed and breakfast and we were treated like royalty.

On Monday, we met our good friends, Cindi and Jeff Ingersoll for breakfast at Kneaders.  We had a fun visit and caught up on all the latest news of each other's lives.

Then, Jo took the day off and drove us up American Fork Canyon to Cascade Springs and Sundance.  It was a perfect day, just a little overcast and just the right temperature.  It was absolutely breathtaking!

After Cascade Springs, we headed towards Sundance and through these beautiful Aspen groves.  Wow~!~!

Sundance ski slopes off in the distance.

It was truly an incredible day.  We got home and relaxed a bit then headed to dinner at Jim's favorite Mexican restaurant in American Fork, La Costa.  We had delicious shrimp Guadalajara burritos.  Yum!

Tuesday, May 24, we got up and took a nice walk around Jo's neighborhood, then packed up and headed to Salt Lake where we met up with Jim and Debbie Moore and their daughter, Rachel and her daughter, Isabelle.  We had a nice lunch and chat with them at Rumbi's.

Jim and Debbie lost their son, Andrew, about three weeks ago.  It has been a very hard time for them and it was good for them to be able to talk and share their feelings with us.  Such dear, sweet people.  Our hearts ache for their loss.
