It's Sunday, the 29th of June, and we go to the Mission Training Center (MTC) tomorrow. We check in
around 10:30 a.m. and begin our five days of Preach My Gospel training. We have dropped off so many kids at the MTC over the last many years and it's finally our turn. We are so excited to serve a full-time mission for the next six months in the Boston Massachusetts Mission!
This week in Utah has been wonderful. We are so glad that we have been here with family and friends. Here are a few more pictures of the past couple of days.

Eric's good friends Nick Jones and Jordyn Prestwich drove over from Colorado for Jordyns friend's wedding and to visit Eric and for Nick to get to visit BYU and Temple Square. He has been investigating the church for the past few weeks and we have all had the wonderful opportunity of being a part of his learning and teaching of the gospel. His baptism is set for next Saturday, July 5. We will all be able to be there for it and Eric will be able to baptize him.

Check out the cute patriotic shirts! Purely accidental that they make a flag.
|
It was so much fun having Tucker with us for the afternoon at Temple Square. He loved running up the ramp to see the Christus. He kept saying, "Jesus," and all the Sister missionaries thought he was so adorable. He was/is!!

Saturday morning, Tyler, Sophie, Mike and I went golfing. I forgot to take a single picture, but it was my best golf game ever--not so much for Mike, but it was super fun. Sophie rode in my cart and sat on my lap and drove most of the time. She loved it so much! Wish so much that I had a picture!! Later on, we went swimming and then met up with Eric and Paul's family at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City.

What a fun group! What a fun park. The kids had a blast and it was a great evening for all of us.

We went to church on Sunday to Tyler and Jaimee's Ward in Herriman. Here are two pretty matching girls after church. We spent Friday-Sunday nights at Jaimee's dad's house in Lehi. Sunday afternoon, they invited us all for dinner and we had a feast! It was so good to be with family on our last day before the MTC. It was a really wonderful week and we are grateful to our family and friends who helped us out in so many ways. We love you all!

Sophie took this picture of us after church. We are ready! Let the adventures begin!
