| Wanda as a teenager |
Mike and I flew into Salt Lake City with Melecia on Friday morning, October 22, for the funeral of Mike's step-mother, Wanda Moore Wood. She was such a wonderful mother and grandmother to us and our children. She never forgot a birthday or holiday or special occasion of any kind. She made homemade cards and sent them to everyone of us! She was a quiet, loving and non-judgmental woman. She gave all of us so much love and we were so blessed to have her in our lives. We will miss her very much!

Having 11 children between us, it's not an easy task to get everyone together in one location. We did however, have 9 of our children at Wanda's funeral. What a blessing our children are to us! |

| We had lunch at Zupa's with Glen and Kendi and their cute kids on Friday. It was a whirlwind weekend, but we were so glad that we got to come. The funeral was beautiful and we could feel that Wanda would have been pleased. She has left a wonderful legacy of wonderful people behind. We know that we will be able to see her and be with her again someday and for that we are so grateful. |
