Moore Halloween Fun, October 2010

Halloween was a lot of fun.  We had exceptionally nice weather which always makes Halloween festivities better.  Since Halloween was on Sunday, we had some fun on Saturday night. Hannah went to a masquerade party at one of her friends houses.
Mike and I headed to the church for a chili cook-off which we didn't place in, but our chili was still delicious.  There were a lot of really great entries.  After the dinner, we had a costume parade and then trunk or treating in the parking lot.  It was a warm evening and still light out so it was a lot of fun seeing all the little kids in their great costumes.  We got some use out of the costumes from last year's Niwot production of The Wizard of Oz!  I think Lucy (the cat) thought I was maybe her mom?  She sure was looking at me like she was confused.

Sunday night, we had our traditional scary Halloween dinner.  We invited the Wheelwright family and Paul, Joni, and Ellie to join us.  Here are Elizabeth, Curtis, Becky, and Bishop Ron Wheelwright.

Dinner is always a lot of fun.  Afterwards, we sang some funny Halloween carols and played some games.

Our pretty girls!

Joni did not disappoint with these fabulous cupcakes!  It's amazing the things that she has created since taking up cake decorating!  These little tombstone and owl cupcakes were fabulous!

We love Halloween!
