Violet's cast comes off! Violet and James at T-Point, San Antonio, TX, August 2019

Violet was so cute in her little purple cast.  She didn't let it hold her back at all.  I went with her and Hannah to the doctor's office to have it removed.  She started out so brave and then got a little tearful with the electric saw buzzing on her cast.  She was just a tiny bit timid and tender after it came off, but just like that she was back to running around.  Such a little doll!

We celebrated with lunch at Costco! Violet enjoyed her Acai bowl.

I took Louise, James, Hannah and Violet to Thanksgiving Point to play at the Curiosity Museum.  They loved playing in the sand outside.

These darling little Haviana flip flops came from Sao Paulo.  We bought them before she was born and she's already wearing them.  So cute.

We had a Sunday School party for our 13-14 year old class.  We had pizza and rootbeer floats and played games.  Such a cute group of kids.  We love them all.

There was a fun baby shower for our neighbor and prior RS president, Emily Brand.  It is fun getting to know the other ladies in our neighborhood.  Everyone is so friendly and accepting.  We love it here.

We flew to San Antonio for a few days to see Justin, Mega and their three darling girls.  It was hot, but we enjoyed their beautiful new air-conditioned home and their gorgeous new pool!  It was a treat to be there with them.

We got to go to a gymnastics meet in Austin, where Kira competed and did beautifully.  My friend, Kym Hall, who lives in Austin, came and visited with me during the meet.  It was so much fun watching Kira and visiting with my dear friend.

I snapped a few pictures of their gorgeous home!

Monday was the girls last day of summer vacation so we celebrated with bowling, pizza, arcade games, ropes course and more.

It was hard to say goodbye to this sweet bunch!  We returned home to a busy schedule.  Lots of company and lots of fun as we said good bye to August and celebrated Labor Day!
