Babysitting Violet Sept. 17-24, 2019 (Hannah and Chase go to Europe!)

We got to have a week alone with Violet while Hannah and Chase went to Germany and Austria with Chase's parents.  They had an amazing trip and we had a wonderful time with Violet!  She was so good and it really was a fun week.  We tried to do some fun things with her so she wouldn't miss her mommy and daddy too much.  She missed them most at bedtime.  It was good that they got to Facetime with her every day.

We took Violet to the Zoo before going to a wedding reception across the street at the This is the Place Monument.  She enjoyed seeing the very few animals that were out.  It was a chilly day and most of them were hiding or sleeping someplace out of view!

Teaghan Knechtal (long time Longmont friend's daughter) was married this weekend to Joe somebody (old age memory thing again).  He is from a large Polynesian family and they had a huge luau reception with roasted pig and lots of dancing!  Violet enjoyed watching the dancers!

Eric and I took Violet to the Fall Home Fest in Daybreak, but unfortunately we were too late for the festival part.  We did get to see some cute model homes and eat some yummy Crumbl cookies!

Thinking maybe we need a pergola out in back of our house.

Violet has a shoe thing going on!  She loves to wear our shoes and her shoes!

 We had so much fun with this darling little gal!  It is so much fun having her live in our basement!
