Final Week in Longmont, June 26-30, Sophie and Sadie, Hannah and Chase

We kept Sophie and Sadie with us for a couple of extra days of fun and adventure.  We did so many fun things in just two days!  They are darling girls and sweet cousins.  We loved every minute of their lively, high pitched squealing, loveable ways!

Horses at the Giles

Crawdad Fishing at Hover Park

Swimming at Kanemoto Park

Face Painting, food trucks, and live music (Army National Guard bands) at Prospect.  Tuesday morning the girls and I went to the Longmont Museum and watched Chicken Run.  It was an oldie but a goodie and they both enjoyed it.

The girls loved this kitty, Shadow, that kept coming over to play with them.  Addie's favorite neighborhood cat, Franklin, also came over to play with the girls a lot.  Shadow took that message on the pillow literally!  She reminded me so much of Lucy!

Tuesday, I drove the girls back to Colorado Springs.  Ali picked up Sadie and I spend the night with Tyler's family.  I wanted a chance to spend some time with Tucker and Austin since they weren't able to come up for the farewell.  Sophie, Tucker and I had a fun morning on Wednesday playing at a local park and then we met Tyler, Jaimee and Austin for lunch at Costa Vida.

Hannah and Chase stopped and spent a couple of days with us on their way to Nauvoo for a family reunion for Chase's family.  We kept them busy helping us finishing up our packing and we had some time for some fun as well.  Hannah was pretty exhausted from her hard work and busy school schedule.  It was a nice break for them.

We spent part of the day on Thursday going to Union Reservoir where we rented a kayak and paddle boards.  That night, we ate at everyone's favorite, Sakura! Friday, we worked around the house and then we went to Pearl Street in Boulder for some great food at Pasta Jay's and some fun street performers.  Saturday morning early, Hannah and Chase left for Nauvoo, we finished up, had our friend from our ward help us with the cleaning (Letitia Mutta) and shortly after noon, we were on the road to Utah!

We left Longmont and headed to Green River, Utah, where we spent the night with my brother Pat and his wife Kathy.  We had a nice visit with them and went to their church meetings, had lunch and headed on to Provo.
