One Moore December Post, December 2013

We got to have Sadie and Ali both here for their birthdays this year!  That was a treat for us and hopefully for them too.  For Ali's birthday, we all went out to eat at the brand new Chinese restaurant here in Longmont called China Gourmet.  It was pretty good, but not the best we've ever had!  It's always fun to celebrate a birthday though.  We came home and had cake and ice cream.  Couldn't find the candles, so this one Christmas candle had to suffice!

Happy Birthday, Ali!

Here are some favorite pictures of the rest of the Christmas Break!

Justin and Ryan and their families left us on Saturday night, December 28th, Todd, Kimiko and Jax left on Sunday night and Tyler and Jaimee's family left on Monday morning, December 30th.  We were sad to see them all leave.  It was a really fun Christmas and we hope they all enjoyed being here as much as we enjoyed having them here.  We love our family and wish all 11 of our kids and their families could have been here!  That would have been crazy and I guess impossible, but we want them all to know we love them very much and were so happy we at least got to talk to everyone on Christmas, including all 5 of Mike's kids and our two missionaries!  I'd say Christmas was a success! It's a wonderful time of the year and as we reflect on our blessings, our family is tops!  We are grateful for the birth of our Savior and for His love for each of us as well.  He is the reason we celebrate Christmas and I hope we can keep Him foremost in our thoughts and actions as we head into a brand new year!

We were pretty exhausted by the time the last ones pulled out, so we had a very low-key New Year's Eve.  We fed the missionaries dinner and then watched a movie and went to bed early!  Happy New Year!
2013 was a very good year and here's hoping 2014 is as good or even a little better!!
