We had an extra special visitor come to our house! Sadie and Mia were very happy to see Santa. They told him just what they wanted for Christmas.
Jaxon was a little nervous. He let Santa hold him but he kept his legs straight and wouldn't sit on his lap.
It was pretty funny. It's interesting to see how kids react to Santa. We are asking little kids to sit on a funny looking strangers lap and talk to him like a trusted friend. Doesn't that go against everything we teach them about stranger danger? Haha!
Kira wanted nothing to do with the jolly elf!
Kira and Jaxon are pretty distraught at this point, but the other girls are so happy to have had a personal visit from Jolly Old St. Nicholas. The little girl in front is one of Mia's friends who lives in Lafayette and came to play for the day. Our home teacher, Stuart Snow, was so kind to take the time out of his busy Christmas schedule to do this for our family.
