| Our girl arrived safely in Sao Paulo at the MTC! |
| This is Hannah's MTC District! She's thrilled to be there and loves everything about it so far!! | | | | | | | | | | | |

We decided to hit the road and get our minds once again off our "empty nest" and go visit some of our kids in Utah and Idaho!
| First Stop, South Jordan to visit Todd, Kimiko and Jaxon! |
| We also got to see Tyler, Jaimee, Sophie, and Tucker in Herriman. |
Mike and I went to have lunch with Don Wood (Mike's stepfather, sort of) and Mike's brother Jim downtown Salt Lake. After lunch we went to an organ recital at the conference center. On Sunday, we went back to Temple Square and attended the Spoken Word Broadcast with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and then attended church in the Joseph Smith Building. It was Elder Oaks ward and he was there and bore his testimony!
Saturday was a very special day and we got to attend our granddaughter Bess Moore's baptism!
| Glen and Kendi and their family have moved to Boise, Idaho, this summer, but they came back to Salt Lake to have Bess' baptism in their old, familiar ward. It was nice to be able to be there and be a part of this wonderful event! |

On Sunday, after attending church in the Joseph Smith Building, we headed up to Boise. We arrived there in time to have dinner with my brother Bob and his family in Caldwell. It was fun catching up with them. Unfortunately, we didn't think to take pictures with them!!
| This is a picture of them from back when Spencer's baby, Blake was born, that I copied off of Facebook! |
They were all there except we didn't get to see Spencer's wife, Brittany, who was at work at the time. Little Blake wasn't feeling well and at one point he climbed up into my lap and cuddled me and went to sleep! Love little moments like that! What an adorable little guy he is. Here's a recent shot of him from Facebook!

| What a doll! |

After a nice visit with Bob and his family, we headed to Glen and Kendi's lovely rental home. They had just arrived back from Salt Lake themselves!
We had a great couple of days with them. They showed us around Eagle, we ate at a fun little pizza place, we got to see where they are building their new house, we got to go bike riding and swimming and met their new kitten, Midnight! We also got to see Glen's beautiful office and learn a little bit more about his new job! It was a wonderful visit!
They live in a beautiful community and seem to be fitting in really well. The kids already have a lot of friends in the neighborhood and they all seem to like it there. It's hard to move and change, but they are doing their best to make the adjustments to their new life in Idaho!
Tyler and Jaimee were in a pinch and asked if we could come back through Utah on our way home and take care of Sophie and Tucker so that Jaimee could go to girls camp for their ward and Tyler could work. We gladly accepted and enjoyed another couple of days back in Utah!
| It's so fun to see our kids being such sweet parents to their own kids! We are so blessed to have so many wonderful children and grandchildren! |
| Sophie and I like to go and look at model homes, so one day we took a girls afternoon off and left Grandpa and Tuck at home and looked at the new models in Daybreak! So much fun!! |
| Our last night in town, we met up with Todd's family and Kimiko's parents and went mini golfing at Mulligans. It was a perfect evening and everyone had a blast! |
Our final day in Utah we spent the morning helping Todd and Kimiko get ready for Jaxon's first birthday party! Kimiko did such a nice job with his Dr. Seuss themed party. Jaxon seemed like he really enjoyed his party! It's hard to believe he's already "1" !!
Jaxon celebrating with a lot of his cousins! After the party, we headed home to Colorado! Always hard to leave our sweet ones behind! This was Todd and Kimiko's last weekend in Utah! On Tuesday, they start their new adventure and head out to Oxford, Mississippi, where Todd will begin his PhD at Ole Miss!
