My mother, Jean Brady's funeral--June 5, 2010

Jean Marie Gardner Brady's final resting place--Mountain View Cemetery, Longmont, Colorado.
She was buried next to her sweetheart and eternal companion, Charles Peter Brady, on June 5, 2010.
The funeral was held at the 11th Avenue Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Longmont, Colorado.  We had a really lovely service with all the talks, music, and prayers given by family members.  All of Mom's children and most of her grandchildren were in attendance.  It was a beautiful day to honor a beautiful woman.

Friends and family gather at the Longmont Mountain View Cemetery for Mom's grave dedication.
One of our greatest blessings and gifts in life is the knowledge that we can be with our family forever.  We were sad that our mom passed away but were so happy that she was able to be reunited with our dad and have her health and mental capacities fully restored and whole.  It was hard to be too sad with so much to be joyful about!

More friends and family.

Eric and sweet little Sophie Grace.

Tim and Megan Brady with one of their adorable little gals.  Our RS provided a very lovely luncheon after the funeral at our church building.

Tyler Albert giving Sophie a high five!  Tyler is our Tyler's best friend from high school.  He's practically part of our family.  We would gladly claim him!

I was so happy that all of my kids were able to attend their Grandma Brady's funeral.  Justin and Todd flew up from San Antonio.  Tyler, Jaimee and Sophie flew over from Salt Lake and Ryan and Ali drove over from Draper.  Paul, Joni, and Ellie were here and also Joel and Erin were here for parts of the family gatherings.

This is Bob Brady's family--all of his kids, their spouses and grandkids were here!  What a wonderful legacy!  Mom's funeral was a good chance for her and Dad's family to get together and share memories and fun times past and present.  We have a great family and all of us are blessed to belong to the Charles and Jean Brady family.

It is hard to be sad when you know that they are in a better place, feeling better.
