Summer's Flying By! Moore Fun in the Sun!

Our pretty bird bath fountain and flower pots! Our yard is really beautiful this year thanks to the abundance of rain we have had! In fact, Longmont and the whole Denver area is extra green and lush and we are very blessed with all of this beauty! I don't take it for granted either. Every day as I walk or ride my bike I try to take in all of the beauty that is all around me! We have a lot of birds who love to come and drink from and bathe in our fountain. Our favorites this year are the little tiny yellow birds. They always bring a smile to our faces.

We took some new friends (including this little kitten, Yankee) to the Union Reservoir one day for some swimming fun.

The Brasga-Radovich family moved here recently from Escondido, California. They are a super fun family and they have a daughter Eric's age, Marriah, and a daughter Hannah's age, Maddy. They also have Marissa, who's almost 12, and Mitchell, who's 19 and leaving on a mission this summer to New Jersey.

Eric, Hannah, Marriah, and Maddy

Remember Jack Sparrow with all the painted on eyeballs in Pirates 2? Well, this is another interpretation of that!

I thought this was a cute picture of our three dahlings all in blue!

Hannah trying on her pack for the overnight 4th Year's Hike for camp! They do this one weekend of the summer and then a couple of weeks later they all go to girl's camp for a week. Her pack was almost bigger than her!

Steve, Jenny, and Eli came for a short visit--really short! They had a four hour layover in Denver on their way home from a house hunting trip to Atlanta and so we snatched them up and brought them home for a couple of hours. It was so much fun to see them. Eli is every bit as adorable in real life as he is in pictures! He's very sweet and cuddly too. He warmed right up to us and we loved every minute of it!

Look at those gorgeous blue eyes! He's a charmer!

He thought Aunt Hannah was pretty special! We are all crazy about him. We had a nice visit and caught up with their busy lives and then off they went back to the airport! We wish them lots of love and luck and all the Lord's blessings as they start a new chapter of their lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

Everything is so pretty, love the fountain and flowers.
It's nice when new families move in with kids, the same age as your kids.
That backpack is really big on Hannah. It's great that they go on those though.
