A little catching up time! May 14, 2019 Lehi, Utah

We have already lived in Lehi, Utah for two months and a week!  Time has gone by so quickly.  We have been busy settling in and having house guests. I've gone back to Colorado once to babysit for Ryan and Ali's kids and been to Logan to babysit for Todd and Kimiko's kids.  Our basement is nearly complete with it's own kitchen, laundry and outside entry.  Hannah, Chase and Violet have moved into our two finished basement bedrooms and hopefully will be able to move into their apartment this weekend.  It's been so nice having them here.  They are easy housemates and Violet makes us so happy.  Here's a glimpse into the past two months.

Here are a couple of our favorite rooms in our new house.  Our home is so calm and restful and we love how it's all coming together.

Two of our favorite furniture assemblers, Eric and Nathan.  They have put together so many things for us and have been such a big help and support to us in our move here.

Another view of our family room.

The basement apartment has been a fun project.  We hired a great contractor, Brian Davis (All Around Repair) and he has been doing a fantastic job.  Everyone around here is so surprised that it's nearly completed already.

My Colorado babysitting trip for Ryan and Ali's girls!  I met Jaimee and Austin one day for lunch at Fuzzy's Tacos.  Love these little squirts!

Sweet Claire at her dance class.

Sassy Quinny!  She's so funny and fun!

We had a lot of fun with sidewalk chalk.

My last night, we met Tyler, Sophie and Austin (along with Ryan's whole family) for frozen yogurt.  Sure miss and love these Colorado kids already, but so glad we aren't that far away!

Our Brazil mission friends (Brett and Ruth Barrett) had an early Easter dinner and invited us, Marilyn and Ray Anderson and a couple of Brazilian families who are now living and going to school here.  It was a lot of fun, delicious food, and a chance to listen to Portuguese again and attempt a few words.

We had some lovely house guests for a couple of nights, Bob and Melissa Brady and their cute kids, Natalie, Bobby, Marin and Sophie who were here for Natalie's marriage (sealing) to her cute fiance Austin Harrison.

Nancy and Dale were also here for a few days.  Dale had a reunion with some of the kids he grew up with at his brother, Larry's home in Lindon and then they spent several days with us as well-always a great time!  More of the wedding and Nancy and Dale's time with us to come!

Violet has been on the verge of walking and took her first steps since we have moved here.  She is a full walker now and is very steady on her feet.  Here are a few pics along the way!

A fun day at the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point with Nancy and Dale:

It was a beautiful Spring day and we had a lovely time enjoying nature! Thanksgiving Point is about 10 minutes from our house and we bought season Grandparent passes and can go anytime we want with family and friends.
