Family and Disneyland! August 7-8, 2016

We got to stay in Long Beach with Kathey and Ulises.  Hannah, Chase, and Eric stayed with Mike and I.  Eric flew down from Salt Lake on Friday night and left Sunday morning but the rest of us had a fun time visiting with family on Sunday and going to Disneyland on Monday.  Valerie and Darryl live in the same neighborhood as Kathey (Miga) and they offered to host a feast for all the California family to meet Chase!  They invited everyone and Nancy and Dale, Micah, Marissa's family, Seth's family, and Cierra's family were able to come.  It was so much fun and we ate like kings!  Darryl bbq'd a ton of delicious food!  We had ribs, chicken sausage, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, watermelon, brownies and ice cream!  No one left hungry!!

Some of my nieces and nephew's darling kids playing dressup!

 Beautiful ladies!

The men chillin', watching a movie.

Girls with a very large snake!

The happiest place on earth--Disneyland!  We arrived early and stayed late!  Soooo crowded, but thanks to fast passes and good planning we managed to do and see everything we wanted to!

Disneyland never disappoints!  We ate in New Orleans Square and had the best Monte Cristo sandwiches and fries ever!  Even the food is delicious here!

Hannah and Chase drove our car back to Cedar City on Tuesday, August 9, and Nancy and Dale picked us up at Miga's house.  Miga and Ulises were such wonderful hosts.  They treated us so well and we loved being with them so much.

We drove to San Clemente (where Nancy and Dale hope to live during their mission) and looked at some mobile homes for them to possibly rent right across from the beach! We had a wonderful lunch on the San Clemente Pier overlooking the ocean.

We also looked at some beautiful million dollar model homes in San Diego before meeting up with the Riewert's for dinner at their house.  We stayed with them a couple of nights and had fun adventures with them and with Nancy and Dale during the day.
