Two of our daughter-in-laws are very good photographers and took some great family pictures down at the beach. We think they turned out spectacular! Still waiting to see the entire collection, but the ones we have so far are fabulous. The heading of our blog is our whole gang!
Four out of five of Mike's kids--Joel, Glen, Melecia, and Paul
Three out of four of my boys and their wives--Tyler and Jaimee, Ryan and Ali, and Todd and Kimiko. Todd and Kimiko joined us for part of the day on Saturday. We totally understood them not wanting to be with us for the whole reunion!!
Here we are eating lunch in Logan at LaBeau's burger joint before heading to Bear Lake. Isn't it amazing how much of our lives revolve around eating? We did have some delicious meals and we appreciate everyone for pitching in and providing and preparing the food.
We got up to our "cabin" in the early afternoon on Thursday and unpacked our cars and staked out our rooms. It was a beautiful, new home and we were all very impressed with everything about it. We had plenty of room for everyone. After unpacking, we headed for the beach. The water is pretty cold, but we ventured in anyway and eventually got used to it. The water at Bear Lake is the color of the Caribbean. It is so incredibly blue and clear. I couldn't get over how beautiful it was.
We played frisbee and football and just played around in the cold, clear, blue water.
Carter enjoyed the gentle waves near shore.
We love to dance! So, of course, we danced. Everyone had a lot of fun showing off some pretty cool moves.
Catching some fresh air out on our deck.
Some cuties on the beach!

More fun beach pictures!
On Friday afternoon, we rented a boat and a couple of jet skis! It was windy and the water was really rough, but we all still had a blast taking turns on the tubes and the jet skis!
Mike sure enjoyed having time off of work and being with the people he loves most in the world!
Hannah and Jaimee heading out to sea!
Bathing beauties!
Bess taking a little nap! She had a rough time at the beach. The wind was blowing really hard and picked up our big umbrella and blew it right into her! She was tuckered out and had a much deserved nap.
We had lots of fun sharing music. Garrett has become quite a good guitarist and pianist. One of my favorite things was hearing Ryan and Madison singing some duets. They were really good. And they'd never sung together before.
Everyone just chillin' while we share what we've all been up to over the past few years.

I know--everyone looks pretty thrilled right? I think everyone was just reflecting on what everyone else was saying. It was a fun chance to catch up on everyone's accomplishments. We have an amazing family!
This was our internet cafe. We had about 4-5 laptops set up along this ledge in the kitchen. The big game involved who could type the fastest! I guess it's better than who can shoot the most people!
Saturday was a little rainy, so we didn't go to the beach. It cleared up in the afternoon, but was still pretty chilly, so some went golfing and some of us rode these interesting bikes.
They were fun, but a lot of hard work! Here we are trying to drive and eat our shave ice at the same time. It was so yummy and fun!
Getting dressed for our family pictures! We stayed with the colors of Todd and Kimiko's wedding.
Our last night was a tribute to Mike in honor of his upcoming 70th birthday! Everyone shared a skit or talent. Here's the Jefferies family doing a Pirates of the Caribbean skit. Madison was an amazing Jack Sparrow! Rhett did a good job as Bootstrap Bill Turner, too. They were all awesome.
Paul and Glen doing a funny, goofy skit.
The audience is enthralled!
Mike singing and strumming some of his famous songs like "Lye Soap."
The Backstreet Boys are Back! They did a great dance/lip sync routine! Other performances were Ryan and Eric singing an original arrangement to Cowboy Joe, Todd singing an original love song to Kimiko, and Ryan and I sang a Spanish song and I sang I wanna grow old with you! It was a lot of fun and everyone did a really great job. Mike was thrilled to say the least. It was a really great reunion and we all had a blast. We played lots of games, cards, etc. and did a whole lot of visiting. We can't wait until we can do this again!! Thanks everyone for making this a very memorable weekend for everyone!
