The holidays are over and 2009 has begun! It is a cold, drab day outside and it could be a depressing month....but we are choosing to be positive and look at all that we have been blessed with and are trying not to get the January blues! Joy in the Journey was one of President Monson's talks from our last conference and one of the things he stressed was to look at all we have and not what is missing in our lives!! Let's all make a goal to make 2009 our best, most positive, happiest year ever and continually count our blessings, which include at the top of our list our family and friends!!
Just a few pictures of our Christmas...

The Boys in their Christmas Jammies.....

...and the girls in theirs!

We had a quiet Christmas this year following a Thanksgiving that was bustling with lots of family! It was quiet, but it was very nice. We enjoyed each other very much as well as a lot of sweet moments with Grandma and of course our pets, Molly and Daisy.

A last look at our perfect Christmas tree! It stayed beautiful and fresh the whole holiday season! We were sad to take it down! Everything is now put away for another year and we are on to living FINE in 2009!!

Your home looks so peaceful, especially all decorated up for the holiday.
We're glad that you had a good day and that you had your mom there to celebrate it with you.
We love you and hope that this year is good to you, we can't wait for August. It will be here before you know it.
Everything looks so Christmasy and beautiful, especially you fine looking ladies... ok and gentlemen!! Glad you had a good day and thanks for the reminder to count our many blessings!!
I love christmas time! I'm about to take all of our christmas decorations down and I really don't want to.
It looks like you all enjoyed your holiday together. I had fun talking with you guys on my birthday! And we plan on making this the best year yet!
You do look cozy for Christmas! Focusing on the blessings is a great attitude for the new year! You look cute in your pj's.
Everyone likes their hats and are wearing them every day for our gray January!

Your house looks great as always. It's nice you had a great Christmas. Everybody looks wonderful.
I love your tree! I was sure sad as well last night taking down the Christmas stuff. I remember last year in Logan when Ryan texted you about my Christmas bowl still being out in the end of January. It is sad to part with all the cute decorations! :)
By the way January is going to be a FUN month because we are coming! We are excited!
ps Molly is so cute. Im not really a dog person (as you know) but that Christmas card you sent us was so cute of that dog! A lady at my work just gave me a dog calendar that i actually really like. Maybe I could possible come around...
