Garrett's Graduation from BYU-I, Pioneer Day in Logan, July 2019

We are so proud of our grandson, Garrett Jefferies, for graduating as an RN from the nursing program at BYU-I.  It was a thrill to be able to be there to support him and his wife, Louise, and darling nearly two-year-old son, James. It was fun being with Melecia, Rhett, Becca, and Cecily as well! The first event was the pinning ceremony and the group took the Florence Nightingale Pledge.

We took a little drive up to see the famous Mesa Falls.  They were spectacular!

While we were gone, Hannah called and gave us the bad news that Violet had fallen off a chair (she is really into a climbing phase) and broken her little tiny foot.  I've never seen such a cute little tiny purple cast before.  She's precious!  It wasn't a bad break and she was just going to be in the cast for 3 1/2 weeks, so all in all, it could've been a lot worse.

The next day was the commencement ceremony.  Such a handsome, fine young man.

On our way back home, we stopped and spent a couple of nights with Todd and Kimiko and their cute boys.  We celebrated Pioneer Day with swimming, good food, and we watched the fireworks all over the Cache Valley from their back patio.

Todd's family came to town for one of Kimiko's family's kids birthday so we got to see them too!  So fun to have Jordan and Violet so close in age.  They are good little buddies.

It was Highland Days and Hannah's Yoga studio were in the parade.  We are proud of our certified Yoga instructor daughter.

Eric, Nathan and I drove up to Deer Creek Reservoir and joined Kimiko's family for some water activities.  It's wonderful to live so close to so many beautiful places.

Anyone for a game of badminton?
