Our last day in the MTC was Friday, July 4th and since it was a holiday, they just had us stay until noon. We were going to stay for Stadium of Fire at BYU's football stadium, but we decided it would be better to get home and get packed up so we'd be ready to leave for Boston. We had three tickets to sell but we felt sure that they would sell. I put a little notice on FB and Jaimee saw it and posted it on her neighborhood garage sale site and got someone to buy them almost immediately! A little tender mercy that got us on the road a day earlier.
We drove home with Eric, his friend Nick was scheduled to be baptized on Saturday so he came back with us to be able to baptize him. We got back into Longmont just in time to see the fireworks show. We were happy to have Eric along for the drive, in fact, he drove all the way and let us rest up from our busy week at the MTC!
