October 2012, USU vs. BYU, General Conference

Fun weekend with the college kids.  Hannah's roommate, Abi, drove us to the airport and we rented a car for the weekend, then drove to Provo and picked up Eric.  We had to eat at J Dawgs (yum!) and then we went to the USU - BYU football game at the Cougar Stadium.  It was so much fun to be back at BYU!  It was fun sitting with my two opposing fans as BYU barely beat USU.

After the game, we spent the night at Cindi and Jeff Ingersoll's home in Highland, Utah.  It is always so wonderful to be with them.  We got up on Saturday morning and had pancakes with them and watched the morning session of conference.  President Monson announced the momentus change of missionary ages to 18 for young men and 19 for young women.  Hannah and I high fived and she was so happy!  She wanted to go and put in her papers right away, but had decided to establish residency in Utah, so has to wait until the Fall to go.  She is so excited though and wants to be a missionary!
(Since this time, Hannah has decided to go ahead and put in her papers and is going to Brazil in July 2013!!--more to come on that later!!)

Our missionaries

It was a thrill to be able to go to two sessions of conference. We all went to Saturday afternoon and then Hannah and I also went to Sunday morning. We got to spend Saturday night with Glen's family.  Glen and Eric went to Priesthood session at their church and then we met them at In n Out for burgers afterwards.

Sunday afternoon, we took Eric back to Provo, Hannah got a ride back to Logan, I spent another night with Tyler's family, then took off on Monday morning.  It was a long time to be away from my sweet husband and home, but it was a wonderful time bonding with sweet babies and so many others that I love in Utah.  Great big thanks to Mike for encouraging me to do this.  He is a great guy and I love him so much!
