Elizabeth Wheelwright marries Jos Mayo, October 12, 2019
We've known Elizabeth and her family for several years now. They moved to Longmont when she was about 12 years old and soon became another daughter to us. We love her and her family so much. Her dad, Ron, became our Bishop and Mike was one of his counselors. Becky and I became best of friends and we loved having them in our ward.
A few years ago, they moved back to Utah, to Farmington. We have stayed in touch and have followed Elizabeth's journey to Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, to Norway where she served her mission and now to the Salt Lake Temple to be sealed to her sweetheart who waited for her while she was on her mission.
Jos is from Rochester and we knew his family briefly when we lived in Wellsville and they were in our stake, Palmyra. His mom was the Stake YW president and we had come to Palmyra for some stake meetings and spent the night at their home. Wonderful people and we highly approve of Elizabeth and Jos--together forever!!
They had a beautiful sealing and a lovely reception with delicious food, a special presentation by their mothers, and dancing! Best wishes to the happy couple!
