Our brand new temple is finished and we are so excited to be called to serve as ordinance workers in the Ft. Collins Colorado Temple. My friend Sharma and I drove up to Ft. Collins on Saturday evening to watch the cultural celebration which many of our youth participated in. President Uchtdorf was there and it was a thrill to watch the youth perform dances celebrating the history of Colorado. The temple was dedicated on Sunday and we were able to watch the dedication at our chapel where it was being live streamed. Such a blessing to have another temple in Colorado!
During the dances, they created a perfect replica of the temple on the football field. It was truly incredible!
On Sunday, after the dedication, the sister's, Sister Bertha and Sister Hoffman, came over for dinner and we had a nice visit from Pat and Kathy who had been in Denver for a teacher's convention. They stayed the night and we had a very nice visit with them. Happy Birthday to Mike! We love you!
