Cedar City Open House, August 4, 2016

We took a week to catch up after the wedding festivities and then headed out on August 3 for our month away from home!  It's the longest we've ever been away and it turned out to be a fabulous month.  Our friends, the Giles, took Addie for us and we hit the road.

First stop, lunch with Pat and Kathy in Green River, Utah.  It was a wonderful and much needed visit with some of our favorite people!!

Next stop, Cedar City, Utah.  We stayed with Rob and LeAnn Wankier, Chase's parents and had a day of exploring before Hannah and Chase came down from Provo for the open house.

The new Cedar city Temple, reminded me of the Nauvoo Temple--love those clouds!

We spent some time at Cedar Breaks National Park.  Beautiful!

We also explored the Southern Utah University Campus and came upon this gem:  Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery!

The open house was at the Wankier's home and it was lovely! Our family friend, Kathy Kinney came as well as Keith Brady (in town for a meeting) and Shawn and Maria Brady and their kids who live in Cedar City now.  It was so fun to see all of them.

This sign was made by Spencer and Brittany Brady.  They have a wonderful, thriving wooden sign and frame business (Etsy).  This was their lovely wedding gift to Hannah and Chase.
