Hannah's Senior Prom, April 21, 2012

Niwot had it's annual Junior/Senior Prom on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at CU Boulder's Folsom Field in one of the special banquet rooms.  Her date was one of her singing friends, Parker Fowler (aka Jean Valjean from Les Mis).  They had such a great time together.  They double dated with other choir friends, Lindsay Saunders and John McQueen. 

Hannah's dress and hair were beautiful!  She looked stunning!  A friend in our ward did her pretty up-do!

The parents came to our house for pictures and stayed for a while for appetizers and some socializing.  The kids didn't seem to mind...

No, it's fine, really!  We love our parents!

Eric and I created an Olive Garden Restaurant on the back deck.  We served Zuppa Toscana, salad and breadsticks, their choice of Chicken Parmesan or Chicken Alfredo and Molten Lava Cakes for dessert!  Everything was homemade and they loved every bit of it!  

I think they were getting a little full by this point, but they all had dessert!

Very satisfied customers!  The dessert was decadent! They had so much fun eating.  I seriously haven't ever heard so much laughter!

It was fun for Eric to be able to be here for his little sister's prom.  The couples left our house and went to Boulder where they danced the night away.  Hannah reported that the dance was fun and they had a really good DJ.  After the dance was over, they went to the school and joined in the fun at After Prom.  It lasted until 4 a.m.  They stayed to the bitter end hoping to win some great prizes...they didn't win, but everyone had a really fun and memorable prom night!
